 Уште едно ремек дело од HBO, кое исто како ROME, чекав долго за да почнам да го гледам. Anyway, прва сезона ја изгледав експресно и фасциниран сум од секој аспект. Приказната е лудо деталирана, ликовите разработени и реални, нема лигави клишеа... Аплауз за Idris Elba за улогата на Stringer Bell. Fucking A!! |

коментариве ме натераа да ја симнам комплет прва сезона (скоро 5 гб) па ако не ми легне, некој ќе дужи едно Двд со добри ствари

Attorney General orders more episodes of the “The Wire”, or a movie Sometimes government officials draw fire for potentially overstepping their authority — but Attorney General Eric Holder will probably get some praise for ordering the writers of the critically-acclaimed television series HBO “The Wire” to come up with more episodes or a movie. The gritty fictional series, which ran five seasons on HBO, showed the raw side of Baltimore as it endured hundreds of murders annually and a rampant drug scene. The show focused on the cash-strapped city police trying to root out crime as well as the drug dealers fighting for turf, using children to run their corners and the related effects on the city. On Tuesday three of the actors, Wendell Pierce (“Bunk”), Sonja Sohn (“Kima”) and Jim True-Frost (“Prez”), dropped by the Justice Department to join Holder in trying to draw attention to the issue of protecting children from drug abuse and exploitation. But Holder could not resist a plea — well really an order — to the writers David Simon and Ed Burns for more. “I want to speak directly to Mr. Burns and Mr. Simon: Do another season of ‘The Wire’,” Holder said, drawing laughter and applause from the audience. “That’s actually at a minimum. … If you don’t do a season, do a movie. We’ve done HBO movies, this is a series that deserves a movie. I want another season or I want a movie. I have a lot of power Mr. Burns and Mr. Simon.” Wendell “Bunk” Pierce, who is now on the latest HBO hit “Treme”, chimed in with a “hear hear.” |

Ја почнав, изгледана прва епизода! Рано е, многу е рано да се коментира ама очигледно ќе биде безобразно добра серија. |

Мислев да пишам поголем текст ама се откажав од тоа, серијава едноставно треба да се седне и да се изгледа, дефинитивно заслужен бр.1 серии евер!!!! Љубиша :* Првата сезона изгледана и ме купи од сам старт! Одиме со втора сезона (додуша синоќа ги изгледав првите четири епизоди)

"The Wire" Gets HD Makeover From HBO HBO said today that it has remastered all 60 episodes of its Peabody Award-winning drama The Wire. All five seasons of the gritty Baltimore series will be available in 16×9 full-frame HD for the first time, and HBO Signature will run them in order starting the day after Christmas. It’ll be the first time the ensemble drama starring Dominic West, Wendell Pierce, Idris Elba and dozens of others has aired on a linear channel since the show wrapped in 2008. The Wire: The Complete Series also will be available for digital purchase starting January 5 and comes to Blu-ray in the summer.
