Nikola Maslovara Masli jedan je od najvažnijih ex YU autora karikaturalnog stripa. Veoma vredan, a uz to i izuzetno skroman i nenametljiv, Masli je uspeo da stvori, kao scenarista i crtač, čitav niz originalnih likova, objavljivanih od 1971. godine pa sve praktično do danas.
Sem toga, Masli je radio i na velikom broju licencnih stripova - Veliki Blek, Tom i Jerry, Mapet bebe, Pink Panter, Miki Maus... Radi je i kao urednik u Dečjim novinama, bio osnivač dečjih listova, priznati karikaturista...
