BIOGRAPHY - Michael Petrus
*22nd April 1986
I study English and fine art at the University of West Bohemia, the Czech Republic. I draw since I was a kid. I spent couple of years at Elementary Art School in the town I live in, Klatovy. I learnt the basic rules of drawing but this school was really universal. Through the time I was too much orientated, left the school and then discovered the comics art. Actually, I made the first comic story at the age of six. I created couple of stories with my scriptwriter Viktor. Some of them were printed in Czech underground fanzines. I also illustrate a few magazines, made some pictures and strips for Czech campaign against poverty and so on. Comics art is my passion. I am interested especially in alternative comics and want to create visually interesting pieces impressing people. My style has changed several times and I am going to improve it as much as possible.
BIOGRAPHY - Viktor Šauer
*6th September 1988
I am student of The Czech Technical University in Prague but since my childhood I am interested in all kinds of art – literature, fine art, music etc. When I was fifteen I started to write. It was my first fantasy book. It took me 5 years to finish it. During this long time I was developing my style in many short stories and few novels. I also started to cooperate with Michael as a comics scriptwriter. As I was growing older also the topics were changing. From adventure criminal stories I moved to much more personal subjects like feelings, terms and social problems. In most of my works I try not only to entertain the reader but also to present some of my ideas - not to push on but to appeal to confrontation.
